Description of the Calibration Hand Pump

Applications
A Calibration Hand Pump is used to generate pressure for the testing, adjusting and calibration of mechanical and electronic pressure measuring instruments. The Calibration Hand Pump can be used in laboratories, workshops or in the field.

Operation
The CPP30 Calibration Hand Pump connects simultaneously to a device under test and a pressure reference, and applies pressure to both instruments. Calibration or adjustment of the device under test is accomplished by comparing the two measured values. The CPP30 is fitted with a fine adjustment vernier for fine tuning each pressure point.

Ease of Use
The compact CPP30 Calibration Hand Pump enables simple and accurate test pressure generation up to 508 psi and vacuum generation down to -14 psi. The maximum pressure or vacuum achievable depends on the attached test volume. The reference instrument is fitted directly to the top of the Calibration Hand Pump, and the device under test is connected via a connection tube (length 19") with NPT adaptors included as an option.
