From the first Mensor Quartz Manometer produced for the aviation industry in 1970 to the advanced computer controlled pressure calibration systems of today, Mensor's name has become synonymous with reliability and innovation in the field of precision pressure measurement, control and calibration.

Company Timeline

  • 1969: Incorporated in Houston, Texas
  • 1970: First product shipped
  • 1976: Introduced Digital Pressure Gauge product line
  • 1978: Relocated to San Marcos, Texas
  • 1981: Feb. 13th: Fire destroyed the Mensor facility.
    Feb. 16th - Opened 3 days after the fire.
    July - Mensor builds new 26,000 sq. ft. facility on same site. First shipment since the fire.
  • 1983: PCS200 Pressure Controller/Calibrator introduced
  • 1992: PCS400 Pressure Controller/Calibrator introduced
  • 1997: Dual Output Pressure Controller/Calibrator introduced
  • 2001: Quartz Pressure Calibrator introduced
  • 2004: APC600 Automated Pressure Calibrator introduced
  • 2006: Mensor becomes part of WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG
  • 2007: CPG2500 Digital Pressure Gauge introduced
  • 2009: CPC3000 High Speed Pressure Controller introduced
  • 2012: CPC8000 High-End Pressure Controller introduced
  • 2015: New facility finished
  • 2015: August 3: CPC4000 Industrial Pressure Controller introduced
  • 2016: January 1: CPC6050 Modular Pressure Controller introduced
  • 2017:  October: CPC7000 Pneumatic High Pressure Controller introduced
  • 2018: February: CPT9000 Premium Pressure Transducer introduced
  • 2018: July: CPD8500 Digital Deadweight Tester introduced
